We are sad to report that after 8 wonderful years we have retired our Sticks and Stones program. HOWEVER, our original program, Junk 2 Funk, is still going strong! Junk 2 Funk incorporates many of the same positive messages that Sticks and Stones once did such as the importance of being kind to our fellow human beings and to our amazing planet Earth. Junk 2 Funk (J2F) is a high-energy, confidence-building and performance-based program that emphasizes the importance of working together as a team. J2F exposes young people to music and performance art in a non-threatening, novel manner while addressing current environmental issues, as well as many core curriculum standards, along the way. J2F is considered by many educators, parents (and kids!) to be one of the best artist-in-residence programs in New England! Think STOMP meets Blue Man Group meets the Green Police!
