The Techlology (Audio/Visual)

TLP Residencies and Workshops integrate the latest audio/visual technology with drumming on instruments made from reused and recycled materials.  The result is a sound & look that is truly unique!

A professional-grade Epson projector (3500 lumens) & a custom front/rear projection screen (6' x 8') from Rosco (a leader in state-of-the-art theatrical supplies) realize incredible high-definition images.

Students can perform dance routines behind the screen resulting in crisp silhouette animation, a very cool and  popular effect as demonstrated in the photo to the right.

Roland's SP808EX e-mix studio/sampler allows students to replay audio samples and beats at the touch of a button.

Using M-Audio's Axiom 25 as a midi controller in conjunction with Apple's MacBook Pro loaded with Ableton Live software, students can create mixes and remixes of songs in real time, all on the fly.
