Skip Brunette
Skip Brunette is a professional musician and educator (B.A., M.Ed.) who since 1993 has taught language arts, social studies and Spanish to grades K-8 as a New Hampshire public school teacher. He has assumed other important roles within the school system as well such as that of coach, curriculum coordinator, conflict manager, peer mediation adviser, planning room manager, and presenter of kindness/anti-bullying workshops. Skip has mastered the art of teaching. He has an instinctive ability to recognize each student’s individual needs and the proficiency to make sure those needs are met. His deep understanding of the craft allows Skip to create harmonious environments that encourage students to take healthy risks and ultimately reach their greatest potential. Students have twice nominated Skip as a Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers. In 2005, Skip began writing songs for the classroom to use in his teaching. His music eventually expanded beyond the classroom and in 2008 Skip founded the band Todo Bien, recorded his first full-length record, and began touring as a singer/songwriter. He currently has three full-length albums to his credit. TLP is excited and grateful to have Skip on board!
